The Owners:

Oanaka EduCare, Connor Street and Oanaka EduCare Riverside are privately owned by Sandie and Barry Dodds, Dot and Chris Macfie; a tight knit group of 4 who have clearly defined roles in the management of both centres. Sandie and Dot are sisters. Sandie is the on-site manager at Connor Street and Dot at Riverside. Barry and Chris are also frequent visitors to the centres, much to the children’s delight, as they are ‘lucky enough’ to be our resident Mr Fix-its!

Services:

Our centres operate all year round excluding a short break between Christmas and New Year. We are licensed to operate between 7:30am and 6pm Monday to Friday. We offer both sessional and full day services for infants from 12 weeks of age up to children ready for school.

Our focus is on quality education and care facilitated by qualified and registered early childhood teachers.

We offer low teacher-child ratios, a licensed and chartered centre and the availability of government subsidies.
